The staff’s response to questions and complaints was hostile, with raised voices and no effort to help or apologize. I left wondering whether the four-star rating was fake or bought, because the stay felt stressful, uncomfortable, and completely misleading. The room was dirty and poorly maintained, and I found bed bugs in the bed and woke up with bites. When I reported it, staff seemed annoyed rather than concerned. Breakfast was stale, old, and felt unhygienic, more like a neglected hostel kitchen than what you’d expect from a four-star hotel. Calling this place four stars would almost be funny if it hadn’t ruined my stay. Avoid it unless you enjoy disappointment.

I booked three nights but left that same night without staying even one. The room was filthy and poorly maintained: broken furniture, stained bedding, hairs in the bed, and pillows with sweat or blood type stains. The door handle and lock were coming off, and it took extreme force to shut and lock the door, a serious safety concern. Reception said the door problem was “normal.” I checked out the next morning, three days early, and asked only for a refund for the unused nights, happy to pay for the first night. They refused despite the photos. They also claimed the room had been cleaned and emailed that we “had a lovely stay,” which was false. Update: because of the hygiene and safety issues, my booking company has removed this hotel from its site. Well done Hotel lilova, this has cost you more than two or three nights’ accommodation, since you now have less market visibility. I hope you learn from this and start running a proper business.

The front desk guy was extremely rude, and the free breakfast was laughable. They didn’t even have milk for coffee. The linens were dingy, and the pillow looked about 10 years old. There was only a handheld shower, with no curtain or doors. They advertise an elevator, but we still had to climb three flights of stairs to reach our first floor room, with no elevator access before that. Terrible experience at this dirty hotel with nasty staff. One star only because zero wasn’t an option!

The room hadn’t been cleaned properly: the bathroom was dirty, human waste from previous guests was visible in the toilet, and the stained sheets looked unchanged. No housekeeping came during my four-night stay, and no one checked whether things were okay. Other guests told me they’d had similar problems without getting help. The hotel’s location is good, but the way it’s run felt highly unprofessional and unsafe. Management didn’t respond when I tried to contact them, and the whole experience ruined my stay in Prague and caused real distress. I strongly advise others to reconsider booking here. After a long flight, I arrived to find the receptionist intoxicated and unable to help with check-in. I was exhausted and just wanted to rest. When I calmly explained the problem, he became physically aggressive and made me feel unsafe. He refused to say whether another staff member could help, and the owner couldn’t be reached despite several attempts. I waited at reception for about an hour before finally getting access to my room.
