Parking was the one tricky part, as it was hard to find a spot. The room was good enough for a night's sleep, and breakfast was good.

Breakfast came from a menu, with one meal to choose, freshly prepared for us. It was good, and we could get on our way without wasting time. The room was clean but small, and suited us as a place to crash after a long drive. I wouldn’t choose it for a holiday.

We had dinner here, and the service was friendly and quick. Our waiter spoke English and was very helpful. The food was delicious: the beef steak with mustard sauce and green pepper was well prepared and reasonably good for its price, and the Veprove vypecky with cabbage were very good. The ribs tasted good, but were unfortunately too tough and needed more time in the oven. For breakfast you can choose what you want, like scrambled eggs, toast, or sausages. I recommend the eggs with bacon. The rooms were clean and well equipped, with air conditioning, and even a comically huge satellite TV. I spent one night at this old pension with its hundred-year tradition. It’s near a busy road, so there’s noise on that side, while the other side is quiet. Friendly service all around. I’ll come back.

If you’re waiting for a bus or tram, this is a good place to stay. The welcome is warm and the beer is good. They serve typical Czech food, but I’d skip the fish: it was frozen and not cooked well. The sea is a long way from here ^^
