The morning light came in very early, around 5 or 6 if I remember right, because the curtains didn't keep the sun out. The mattress was a bit hard too. Still, we had a really good stay last summer. The staff were polite, the food was tasty, the view was lovely, and breakfast was great. This review is long overdue, but we can recommend the place.

Getting there means tackling a terribly steep road, so be careful if you're not confident driving. It's also quite far from the city centre. The room was clean and had tea, coffee, a kettle and a hair dryer. There's self check-in, and the price is good, but there was no food or option for breakfast.

We had good food, good coffee and friendly service, with plenty of outdoor seating and fair prices. You can pay by card, too. It's tucked at the edge of the village near the woods, and makes a nice walking destination from Marianske valley.

The homemade breakfast was delicious, and the house felt warm and cozy, just like home. It's clean and sits in the forest, with a beautiful view of the whole village. The owner was great, and Labrador Maks was very friendly. There's also a playground for kids. We recommend it wholeheartedly and will definitely come back.
