Hotel U Zeleného stromu

The price is okay, but breakfast was the main problem and left me with a poor impression of the hotel. There aren't many restaurants or bakery options in town, which makes that especially frustrating. The tomatoes looked like they'd been cut 2-3 days earlier, the fried eggs were unattractive and tasteless, and there were no fresh scrambled eggs. The muesli selection was very limited. Cutlery and juice jars were extremely dirty, and the grapefruit juice was good one day but seemed at least twice as diluted the next. I wouldn't recommend staying here again.

There are lots of things to do in the courtyard, including activities for children, and the restaurant serves delicious food. The staff are amazing and seem ready to help with anything. The historic building has been renovated with care, keeping its character while offering comfort that matches or even beats a modern hotel. It feels warm and full of history, not sterile or cold.

We had rabbit one night in a really tasty sauce, one of the restaurant's specials that wasn't usually on the menu. The food was very good, and they also had a nice range of excellent local beers. Our room was clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and spoke English.

The breakfast crumpet was delicious, and breakfast as a whole was lovely. We arrived late at night, but the staff had waited for us. The woman who helped us was really nice. The hotel itself is beautiful and comfortable, too.
