The host is very friendly, and there are shops and restaurants nearby. It’s a basic but clean guesthouse close to the town center, with a well-equipped kitchen, including a microwave, stovetop, kettle, dishes, and washing machine. The beds and mattresses were comfortable, the linens were clean, and towels were provided. Highly recommended!

We got very little rest, with what sounded like elephant races going on overhead. At 1 in the morning, I was lying there staring at the ceiling and wondering what I could hit it with to make them realize people were trying to sleep. The room also felt neglected: plaster was falling off, old food was left in the microwave, and the shower had a dried-on layer of something on its head and rusty fittings. The towels, bed, and sheets all smelled musty, and it seemed like nobody cleaned or cared for the place. The listing said there’d be a double bed, but we got two beds pushed together. Better to stay somewhere else that’s cleaner. Never again.

The owner is very helpful, and the spacious room was clean and fully equipped. It’s a quiet, pleasant place to stay right in the city center. The only drawback for me was the slow Wi-Fi, but I still recommend it and will definitely return.

We had a good stay for a weekend getaway at a fair price. The room was spotless, everything worked, and the beds were especially comfortable. There’s a large shared area, a lockable yard, and parking in front of the wine shop. Communication with the owner was good, and the place is easy to reach from the city center, with plenty of privacy. We also recommend the restaurant in the side street, U Gregorů. We took a longer bike ride around the area and an early evening walk by the lock to the railway footbridge. The otters nearby and the peeling plane trees in the park were breathtaking.
