I had a great weekend here at the end of February 2025. The tram stops right outside, and I liked the antique furniture. The staff were helpful, and the other guests were friendly and respectful. The only fault I noticed was that the shared toilet door had no lock. I'd recommend staying here.

The hosts made the place feel like home. They were very warm, helped us with everything, and Mr. and Ms. deserve thanks for their service. The rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms were clean, and the cute decor added to the stay. We had no difficulties and felt it was safe and good. I highly recommend it.

I ate all my meals in the shared kitchen, just like I would at home, and the whole place had such a homely feel. The host was lovely and always ready to help, even though English wasn't their language. It's spacious and quiet inside, with the tram and bus station right opposite. My stay was comfortable, and I had a great time. I'd definitely come back and hope more stays are like this one. 😘🤗

The older man at the lobby was especially nice and shared lots of useful local knowledge about the city and good places to visit. My stay was very pleasant. The room and restroom were clean, and the sheets were particularly comfortable. I can definitely recommend it. 😊

For just £30, I got a huge room with my own toilet. The Gentleman at reception waited a long time for me after my flight arrived late, at 22:20. He was friendly and professional, and spoke Polish and English. The hostel is right in the center of Ostrava, in a very old historic building with a special feel and remarkably nice furnishings.
