The breakfast was very poor, and there was nowhere to make calls or relax. I had to take a Zoom call in the restaurant because there was no other space 🙈. The rooms are very small and old, with such awful soundproofing that we could hear every word from our neighbors 😢. Why does this hotel have a 9.0 on Booking.com? 😳😳 It's old and not fancy, with none of the services you'd expect from a 4-star hotel. Parking costs extra and isn't secured 😳😳👎👎👎

The setting is peaceful, with a gas station shop right beside the hotel for picking up supplies, and the city is still only a short drive away. I found the room in the second building spacious and comfortable, and the front desk staff were lovely. It’s a charming place for either a quick visit or a longer stay, and I’d recommend it.

Breakfast was outstanding: you pick the ingredients and the chef makes it the way you want. We slept incredibly well, too. The building has a coal-mining history, which is an interesting detail. The hotel is a little old, but it’s been kept in good shape.

The restaurant serves tasty, very good meals, though prices are a bit above those in the city. There isn’t much choice in beer, but they seem to focus on wine. As for the hotel, it’s a small, charming place in an old coal mine building, with a clean, spacious room, comfortable beds, and very friendly, helpful service.
