The cottage is better suited to a small group, since it's small and the kitchen wasn't very clean. We tidied up before leaving but were still charged 1,000 CZK for cleaning, which felt unfair. The nature around it is beautiful.

The cottage was clean and nicely prepared, and we were satisfied with our stay. Getting there involves about 100 metres of narrow reversing, which probably won't suit everyone. I also found it a bit off-putting to be asked to wipe things down after ourselves. At today's prices, why not let guests just put on clean sheets? :-) :-) We didn't see any mold or dirt, unlike what some previous reviews mention.

The biggest disappointment was finding dirty bedding and mattresses that hadn't been made up. Nowadays, when everything can be washed, that really spoiled our first impression. We were a group of friends aged 55 to 70 and stayed for a week at the beginning of August 2024. Although the cottage has ten beds, the space felt small for its stated capacity of ten. It was quiet, the woman who handed over the cottage was pleasant, and the owner replied quickly by email. But it wouldn't work for people with mobility problems, and I wouldn't recommend it for small children. It's right on the shore, reached by several concrete steps. The basement has the cottage's only toilet, plus a shower and sauna. Steep stairs go up from there to the living room, with another steep flight leading to the bedrooms.

The kitchen had greasy, dirty dishes, and the toilet was very narrow. There was dust and cobwebs everywhere, plus stained mattresses and moldy corners in the shower. The cottage isn't suitable for older people or anyone with mobility problems, as the stairs to the rooms and down to the bathroom are steep. The offer showed an illustrative photo of an inflatable hot tub, but no hot tub was available. When we asked why, we were told we should have known that beforehand. That should have been stated in the offer.
