Mamaison Residence Downtown Prague

The staff were patient, helpful, and professional. The room was spacious, clean, well organized, and comfortable for a longer visit. The neighborhood is quiet, and several tram lines pass through the Stepanska stop, about a five-minute walk away. Downtown takes around 15 minutes on foot, though there aren't many grocery shops nearby. The gym is genuinely well equipped, with two treadmills, a stepping machine, other cardio machines, dumbbells, and a combined exercise unit. Towels and disinfectant are provided, and it's open 24 hours. Getting there feels a little spooky, but it's no big deal. There's a thick mat beside the bench. Breakfast was a nice treat: fresh fruit and vegetables, several kinds of oatmeal, cereals and flakes, plus dried fruit and nuts. I didn't care for the juices, probably just my taste. The pastries were fresh and delicious, and the cold cuts were fresh and tasty. There was a hot breakfast dish every day. The dining room is large enough for about 100 people, and the balcony looks inviting, though not in winter. The lobby bar looks welcoming but was deserted for some reason. The reception snack bar has fair prices and can sort you out quickly if you're starving, but I'd still choose one of the restaurants within 150 m :D

We'd be happy to stay here again. It's a quiet neighborhood, and walking to the city center is easy and pleasant. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well soundproofed, and the service is polite and professional. Breakfast has plenty of variety, though guests with dietary preferences or sensitivities may want to note the limited range of olives and especially the bread selection. Comfortable, conveniently located, and good value.

We went to Mamaison Residence Downtown Prague for my boyfriend's birthday, and the staff even arranged a small surprise after I asked. They were friendly and professional from the start, replied to emails quickly, and made the day feel extra special. The area is peaceful, which was great for winding down after exploring. It took about 30 minutes by taxi from the airport and roughly 10 minutes to walk to the city center. Our room was spacious, with comfortable furniture and all the amenities we needed, so it felt like a cozy home away from home. One thing to know is that there's no traditional English breakfast. We came away with only positive impressions, and the convenient location, attentive staff, and comfortable room made this a great choice for a special occasion in Prague.

The location and buffet breakfast were good. The food selection was solid and fresh, and service was efficient. The restaurant and shared areas were pleasant, but the experience in the room was woeful. We were staying at Mamaison Residence Downtown from 23-28 October 2025. At check-in, a lovely gentleman explained there'd be light daily service, with towels replaced if left on the floor, toilet paper replenished, beds straightened, and fresh sheets plus a full clean on day three. We're now on the fourth night, and none of that has happened properly. The sheets haven't been changed, towels were replaced only twice after we asked cleaning staff in the hallway, and we had to request toilet paper because the room hadn't been serviced at all. The coffee pods from arrival were never replenished, and the glasses weren't cleaned either. We asked reception in person to clean the room and were assured it would be done, but nothing changed. Having to chase basic housekeeping like towels, toilet paper, and clean sheets is unacceptable. If clean rooms and reliable service matter to you, I can't recommend this hotel.
