A clean, quiet, family-friendly place with a beautiful view. The furniture is simple and the staff were helpful. It’s a little remote, but you can set off skiing right from the main doors.

It’s something you can only imagine, though every bit of magic needs a little trick. The secret is in the hosts’ hands. The beds were hard, and the thin walls meant we could hear other guests. We also had trouble with the basics: after two days the internet quit, and the hot water was gone once someone else had showered. Some food froze in the refrigerator, so we had to throw out a whole bag of apples and peppers. The location is pretty good, the price is reasonable, and you can head straight onto the slopes from the house.

The climb up was the hardest part. Stick to the trails or use the suggested transport, since the path under the funicular isn't worth the effort. Once there, the living and dining room with the fireplace is incredible and really cozy. The rooms are old but fine for undemanding guests. The very friendly lady can also arrange a massage and sauna. It felt more like a foursome.
