The location is great, and the people are lovely. I'd definitely recommend it.

The rooms come in a few different setups, from a double bed to a double with a single, or a double, single, and bunk bed. One room doesn't have a door separating its two spaces, though. Getting there is the tricky part. Maps seems to show three routes, but with a very low car, relying on Google Maps alone can make the drive difficult. The suggested way is to turn off Route 252 by "Hotel an der abgebrannten Mühle," then keep going for about five minutes until "Hotel Bouda Jana." Turn right and head uphill, and the house is another five to ten minutes away. There's plenty of room for a larger group, and the house is well supplied. The kitchen has what you need, apart from the coffee maker, which is only a pod machine. Outside there's a large gas grill, and younger kids can use the playroom. Each room also has a small modern TV. We stayed for nearly a week with the family and had a great time. It's a lovely base for people who like nature and hiking. The owners are friendly and communicate easily in English.

I went skiing here with my daughter, who's a total beginner, and had a really good time even though I've been skiing for more than 20 years. There were very few people, the prices were great, and the mountain view was beautiful. The slope works for beginners and more advanced skiers, with a lift, children's features, a slalom, and little hills. The lift operators were very nice too. I recommend it!
