We had a very satisfying stay, with pleasant, friendly staff. There's a nice dining area and bar downstairs, and the location is great, right next to the ski slope.

We spent January 24th to 29th, 2026 at Penzion Melkus with friends, and the warm welcome made us feel at home. The owners were helpful, and the owner's Polish made it easy to communicate. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and well kept, and the Wi-Fi worked well. Breakfast and lunch were delicious, and the bar had a good selection for evenings together over a glass of wine. For a ski trip, the location is especially handy: you can ski down from the Javor 1 slope and walk straight to the guesthouse. Free parking right beside the property was another big plus. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return.

The breakfast had a luxurious feel and plenty to choose from, and the location was excellent. The owners were pleasant, and the accommodation was lovely and clean. My only small gripe was that the bed creaked a bit, but it didn't bother me. I can definitely recommend it.

The rooms were so clean, and we felt right at home. The whole team at Penzion Melkus looked after us wonderfully. Breakfast and dinner were absolutely luxurious, so thanks to the chef! We're already looking forward to next year. Jirka, Marcelka, Lenka and Románek from Znojmo.
