We visited in winter, and the common room makes this a great place for larger groups. There’s also a well-equipped kitchen. For rainy days, the “wellness” area with its hot tub and sauna is a good way to relax and unwind. You can buy a tub and rent a cooling device, which is a great option. The owners were great to deal with, and it’s not far from the ski bus. For an undemanding group looking for a relaxing but active holiday, it’s a perfect fit! :)

The shared kitchen and common room were the best parts for us: both are spacious and well equipped, with a stove and a children’s corner. The location is good too, and it might suit people who aren’t fussy. But our stay at the Lucie guesthouse was a real disappointment. The owner had said by email that every room had its own bathroom, yet we found that 3 of the 5 rooms only had toilets in the hallway. There was a strong sewage smell in our room. The owner said it sometimes happens when it rains. We aired it out as best we could, but the waste smell lingered throughout our stay. The rooms are small and short on storage, with no wardrobe, and I can’t imagine drying ski clothes there. There are no blackout blinds, so the children were awake at 5 in the morning, especially in the attic rooms. One guest’s bed fell apart during the stay. The tap water also had a strange smoky aftertaste and was nearly impossible to drink. It’s apparently safe, but I’d bring bottled water. The owners are friendly, though that didn’t make up for the poor condition of the place or the communication problems.

The owners were so kind and helpful that we really felt at home. It’s a lovely setting, and the location is ideal for a pleasant break with family or friends. We’re very happy with our stay and hope to return to Lucie's cottage soon.
