Hotel Zelený Potok

The rooms are fairly modern and there's free parking, but the bathroom was awful. The shower tray is so tiny that even a quick shower leaves water all over the bathroom floor. Breakfast was poor, with low quality food and very little choice. There was nobody at reception when we needed help. We asked for the room to be cleaned, but all we got were fresh towels. No cleaning, and the bed wasn't made.

The breakfast was excellent, and parking was included. The building is new and very modern, though it felt a little sterile. Still, it was comfortable. There's no gym or pool. You're right by the slopes and just a few steps from a walking trail. The shower tends to splash water onto the floor, so be careful, though it wasn't a big deal. If you're after traditional Czech food, try somewhere else. Hotel Hvězda is only a couple of minutes down the road.

We were comfortable enough, but a heads-up about a few things would've helped. The hairdryer and slippers are on the bottom shelf of the hallway closet, and we didn't find them until after sleeping with wet hair. The room temperature can be adjusted with the remote next to the kitchen area, which we didn't know, so it was sooo cold all night. Also, parking costs extra.

The host was really helpful and friendly, and the price was absolutely reasonable. The apartments are close to the ski lifts and nicely set up, with WiFi, a compact kitchenette and dishwasher, a double bed plus bunk beds, and a cozy sofa facing a flat-screen TV.
