Great value, a good location, and decent breakfasts. The staff were lovely and helpful. I may be a bit biased because I spent unforgettable moments here with someone really special during the winter of 2012, but I’d still highly recommend this guesthouse in picturesque Pec :)

I’m reviewing just the restaurant. Traditional food was really good quality, with very modest prices, and the service was perfect. The coffee was good too. I wish Prague had places like this, but it seems not to.

We only went to the restaurant. The welcome was friendly and full of smiles, including toward the kids. I barely understand Czech, but they were so warm that Esperanto felt even more unnecessary. The food came incredibly fast, especially the beers. I suspect some staff have telepathic and telekinetic powers. I even ordered extra beers to test that theory, and they showed up at intergalactic speed. I had the steak and ate every bit. Good meat, nicely cooked, and very tasty.

Everything was clean and tidy in our room, and breakfast was delicious. We had a great stay at Krokus, with a lovely atmosphere and really good communication with the service team. The skibus, ski rental, supermarket, and route to Snezka were all close by. Parking is behind the Hotel. See you next time! ;)

The traditional Czech dishes were fine, and service was quick. The waitress was smiling too. We’d expected much worse after reading the reviews.
