Zámeček Petrovice

We came back for a second year and it was such a nice surprise to get the same room as last time. The room was comfortable, breakfast was great, and the beautiful park is lovely for a walk in the morning or evening. A great place.

The grounds are beautiful, carefully planned, and well maintained, and the kids’ playground is a big plus. We couldn’t hear noise from other rooms, and ours had everything we needed, though some people might miss a kettle or coffee machine. The wellness area is a little work of art. Service was a real highlight, everyone was friendly and smiling. The food was fantastic too, beautifully presented as well as delicious, easily five-star quality. I would have liked to see some local dishes on the menu, but it was still great. Highly recommended!

This is review number 1k :). The hotel looks great, and I had a good rest here. The restaurant is top-notch, with really friendly, great service. No coffee or tea in the room, though, and nothing available at the restaurant before 6:30. On my second day, there was no toilet paper in my room 😅. Happy staying here 💪

The worst part was how the situation was handled. No explanation, no apology, and when we complained, the staff tried to talk us into believing the replacement was better for us. They offered no discount or free meal, just expected us to accept a worse room than the one we’d paid for. We felt treated like wallets and fools. Seeing other people describe the same thing makes it hard to believe this was a one-off. It feels like a business model. We’d booked a room in the main building for New Year’s more than a month ahead. We also reserved a table for New Year’s Eve, bought tickets for nearby attractions, and planned visits to places close by. After driving four hours on check-in day, we found out they’d given our room to someone else. We suspected it was a local who booked later, while they expected us, the tourists, to take a room in the separate building, which we’d deliberately avoided. That building isn’t connected to the main one, the restaurant, or the wellness center, and isn’t even on the main building’s property. In -2 °C, we’d have had to walk to the wellness area in bathrobes or go over for breakfast each day. We left and took our money elsewhere. Thanks for making us drive home in the dark and ruining our holiday.
