They take credit cards, and there’s a decent range of clothes for men and women.

Breakfast on the courtyard terrace was a lovely start to the day, and check-in was easygoing. We had a really nice stay at pisek. They let us bring our bikes inside, though we were there off season, so it’s best to ask ahead.

I spent the whole night in my car, then was told I couldn’t check in at 8 am because someone would arrive at 8:30. The woman on the phone had said the opening hours allowed an 8 am check-in. Even when I asked to arrive later, they wouldn’t honor the deal if I was just 10 minutes late. Please don’t book here. First and last time for me.

Right by the main square, and Soho Cafe nearby has a great choice of drinks. The room, though, was small and a little dated. We also found a broken wardrobe door and only one towel set for two people. We noticed too late to ask for another.

Back in March 2003, we ate at their restaurant, which was a hidden gem then. Everything was delicious. I knew to order the duck in advance since it needed 24 hours' notice. The bill came to less than CZK 500 at the time.
