We had delicious food every night, and the breakfast and dinner hours worked well for us. The pool was a delight, and the hotel has been renovated since those earlier reviews. There's a gym and sauna too. The staff were very friendly and understanding even though we don't speak Czech. We were glad we could bring our dogs for the family vacation instead of having to put them in a kennel.

It's well placed for hiking, and the pool and tennis court were really good. The bathroom was disappointing, though: hair in the shower and on the floor, someone else's shower gel, and a broken shower door. The old carpet didn't help. The terrace was shared, so you couldn't really leave the door open. It was almost winter when we went, but I can imagine that being a problem in summer.

Breakfast and dinner were the only positives. The rooms were cold, the heating couldn't be adjusted, and the refrigerator didn't work. The sauna wasn't available on Fridays, and using it cost 500czk/hour. There was only shampoo in the bathroom, and robes cost extra. Everything inside looked old and cheap, more like a hostel than a hotel. I don't understand the four stars and wouldn't give it two. If you want to feel like you're back in komunismus, this is the place. Very disappointed :(

The room was a good size, and it's just outside the town center near the forest. The restaurant had good food, the staff were friendly, and there's an indoor pool you can use.

The pool wasn't clean, the sauna was horrible, and the gym was very small. I don't recommend it.
