Hotel Noir

The location is good, with plenty of transport nearby, and if you don’t mind a three star hotel, this could work for you. But I wouldn’t call it a four star place. The breakfast choice was very limited, as were the seats, and I don’t understand why they still use keys instead of cards. We arrived late at night and were given a roof level room with stairs inside it, which wasn’t what we’d booked, so we refused it. The front desk woman was very kind and let us stay in another room until morning. Room No.1 was horrible, with a tiny bathroom and windows opening right onto street level. The front door feels like the entrance to a building, you have to ring the bell to be let in. And the elevator stops between floors, so you have to go up or down stairs to reach your level.

The breakfast was delicious, and the courtyard parking was a great perk, though it could be tricky if you have a bigger car. Rooms are spacious and elegant, and the hotel is very close to the city centre.

Being right in the center made it easy to get to my concert quickly, and the subway was close by. There’s also a neighborhood nearby with all the necessities. Eden at the front desk was kind and helped with everything. My room was clean, and there was a nice, quiet courtyard at the back where you could have coffee.

We had plenty of room in our four bed room, and the beds and fluffy pillows were super comfortable. The room’s interior was beautiful, easily a 10/10. It had working air conditioning and a fridge that cooled well. There was a big bathtub and sink in the bathroom, with the toilet in a separate room. Breakfast was yummy and had pretty much everything: eggs, sausages, breads, pastries, cakes, honey, yoghurt, and coffee. The service was excellent too. I was there with my class, and we were really happy with our teacher’s choice. The location was good for walking everywhere.
