The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and the House was beautiful and well maintained, right in the middle of the old town. Step outside and you're straight into city life. Our apartment, „Baron“, felt spacious and cozy. The absolute cleanliness was what struck us most after check-in. The kitchen and apartment had everything we needed, apart from a toaster.

The only small drawback was hearing garbage trucks early in the morning, though that comes with being in the lively Old Town. We loved our stay. The apartment was right among the main sights, beautifully kept and spotless, with fresh towels and linens. It was comfortable for our family with two daughters, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Check-in went smoothly, and the sweet smell of pastries from downstairs made each morning even better.

We slept well because very little street noise reached the apartment, and the location earns five stars. One end of the street opens onto Charles Bridge, the other onto Old Town Square and its famous clock, right in the busiest tourist area. It’s a pedestrian zone, so we had to drag our cases about 200 metres from where the taxi dropped us by Charles Bridge. The street layout is confusing, with odd corners and building numbers out of sync across the road, thanks to the footprint of large churches. The entrance we needed was opposite the ‘Fat Cat Bar’, beside a shop selling decadent ‘chimney’ cakes. We never saw the owners, but their directions made sense once we found the building. The room felt more like a bed-sit than an apartment. We’d hoped for a washing machine, and another suitcase stand would’ve helped. A carton of milk in the fridge would’ve been a nice touch. As a bonus, the little general store across the road next to the cannabis shop will store suitcases for a moderate fee.

Everything was very good, and the hotel was in a convenient spot with everything nearby. The breakfast was delicious. There was no hot water on the second day, and music from people in the street made the night very loud.
