Michelangelo Grand Hotel Prague

The central location was the only thing I really liked, with everything close by. I’ve just returned from Prague, which I definitely recommend visiting because it’s a beautiful city, but I wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. The bed and pillows were very uncomfortable, the cover barely fit, and outside noise started very early, so sleeping was difficult. The bath was so high that getting in and out of the shower felt risky, and you had to take your time to avoid falling. Some staff were friendly, though others weren’t particularly welcoming. Breakfast was okay but could have been better. I wouldn’t return.

I stayed at Michelangelo for 5 days and would definitely recommend it. The room looked great and was cleaned every day, which was really satisfying. Breakfast was very good, with lots to eat and a great coffee machine. The location is the best, close to almost every attraction in Prague.

We had a really enjoyable 4-night city break at the Michelangelo Grand. The hotel is well placed, and the Old Town Square is an easy walk away. There are plenty of cafes and bars nearby. The Head of Franz Kafka sculpture is close by and well worth seeing, and a tobacconist with a wide range of stock is on the ground floor of the nearby shopping center. Check-in was quick, and the friendly, welcoming staff gave us lots of information about getting around. The room was excellent and had great facilities, including a coffee pod machine and water. The bar and Beer Spa were convenient, with reasonably priced drinks and fantastic staff. I’d highly recommend staying here.

Staff were polite and helpful, and breakfast had plenty of choice. They were quick to clear tables, too. We had a very nice room with a large bed and plenty of space for two. The location is great, about a 10-minute walk from the old town, with the Franz Kafka head right outside. There are lots of places to eat, plus a food hall and grocery shops, so you have pretty much everything you need.
