Getting into the old town was easy, with a metro and tram stop only a two-minute walk away. We felt safe here and comfortable leaving our belongings in the room, which was clean and good value. The room is spacious and on the 7th floor, reached with a list providing access. Towels and bedding were changed daily by the cleaner. There’s a hairdryer, TV, air conditioning and mini fridge, plus a small shared kitchen with a microwave. Breakfast is at Hotel Claris, and it was fine, though nothing special. Check-in and check-out take place at Hotel Claris, while Abacta Residence is a few hundred metres down the road. There’s a €60 deposit, or the equivalent in Czech currency, payable in cash at check-in. The receptionist who checked us in seemed not to like us, or her job, so I’ve taken off a star. The other receptionists we dealt with were okay.

Clean room and bed, and the price was reasonable. One hassle is that check-in, key pickup and breakfast are all at another location, Hotel Claris, about 300 metres away.

There’s basically nobody around to help with anything, so you’re left to manage on your own. A terrible place. I strongly advise against staying here.
