Absolutum Wellness Hotel

We stayed at the end of November 2025 and were very happy with the hotel. It was lovely and clean, and the staff were really friendly. They also let us move our reservation because of an illness, which meant a lot to us. We’ll definitely choose Absolutum Hotel again next time we visit Prague.

The room was clean and standard, but not especially comfortable. The bathroom door couldn’t open fully because the towel dryer was in the way, and although the renovation looked fine, the design didn’t feel very guest-friendly. Even the welcome drink was a bit disappointing, since it was just water. We booked Hotel Absolute only a few days before arriving and chose a package with sauna access and a couples massage. Reception contacted us the next day to say the massage could only be booked for our departure day. We’d planned to use the sauna and have the massage after check-in, so that was inconvenient. They said time slots had to be booked in advance, but the package description didn’t mention that. If we’d known, we would have booked earlier or looked at another hotel. It’s decent if you only need somewhere to sleep while visiting Prague. If you want more comfort and memorable experiences, I’d consider other options too.

There’s a sizeable parking lot, and from what I saw, the front part is monitored by CCTV. The hotel is right beside the underground, with easy access to the city on the C line. Rooms are simple but clean, and the mattresses seemed pretty new. Breakfast was good, though nothing special. A nice little hotel.

We had a great stay, with comfy beds, quiet rooms and fresh towels each day. The rooms were cleaned and the beds made without any fuss or noise. The staff kept a low profile and were friendly. The location is excellent, close to the metro, train station and tram lines. Holesovice is a lovely area, with lots of great little very Czech bars and restaurants that are worth trying. It’s not as touristy or loud as the old town, and there are peaceful, beautiful gardens to enjoy too. There’s also a bar where you can unwind with a couple of reasonably priced beers after a day exploring Prague centre. I really enjoyed the stay and would highly recommend it. Breakfast wasn’t quite to my taste. The food was acceptable, but the coffee could definitely be better. That was my only downside and didn’t take away from the value or the hotel experience.
