Airy Apartment in Old Town by Prague Days

We specifically asked whether this was a party area and were told it wasn’t. Then there was loud bass and shouting until 7 in the morning, followed by people getting rid of bottles. With that noise, the kitchen appliances rattling overhead, and a club nearby, it was impossible to get proper rest. The four-bed apartment setup was odd too: one bed was in the kitchen, and the third bed was in the living room, which people had to pass through. The drain smelled, the bed frame sagged because its slats were broken, and there was an old ChickenNugget on the floor. Under the beds was dirty, and the place smelled of fried food. After one night, our clothes smelled of it too. At this price, it’s outrageous.

There’s plenty of room for a group here, with three rooms, two bathrooms, and even a bed in the kitchen. Up to nine people can sleep comfortably, and the apartment was clean and very tidy. The furnishings are rustic and simple, but there’s more than enough. The old building has a lovely character, and the location is about as central as it gets. We could walk almost everywhere, with a bus stop nearby and the tram just a few meters away. It can be noisy: you hear a lot from the neighbors, especially when people move around upstairs. There’s also always plenty happening outside, though that adds to the atmosphere, haha.

The kitchen is exceptionally well equipped, with a washing machine included. The apartment is right in the middle of Prague's Old Town, and James D ean's restaurant on the corner is well worth a visit.

The apartment is huge and comfortable, and the location is magnificent. The weak points are the poor soundproofing and uncomfortable bed pillows. Still, I recommend it.
