Apartman Student

I stayed here for 6 months in 2016, and still haven't received my deposit back. They don't reply to emails or calls, which sadly doesn't surprise me anymore. When I arrived around 9PM, despite booking a month ahead, my room had been given to someone else and the hotel was full. They put me in a room with a broken shower door, lamp, and fridge. I was told I could move to a proper room within a week, but it took about 3 weeks. Moving was unpleasant because of an unfriendly staff member. I had the same problem with the manager never being around and a staff member being rude. Most staff were kind, though. I just had to avoid the rude person, and that caused a lot of stress. The room was spacious and had a nice view. The pub downstairs and the field outside were nice too.

The nearby forest was superb, but I wouldn't trust this place for a long stay. I stayed there for 3 months in summer 2015, and they never returned my deposit either. It was around 13000 CZK. They said verbally that they'd transfer it when I left, but my emails and calls went unanswered.

There's plenty of space and everything is tidy, so for a few days at a good price it's totally okay. Just don't expect much service. The toilet wasn't perfectly clean, the mattresses are really hard, and everything feels a little cheap.

If you're Russian and only staying briefly, this might suit you since most of the staff speak Russian but not much English. I lived there for about 1 year and found their attitude poor toward people who didn't speak Russian. They also have a room key and can enter your room at any time. Once I woke up to pipe workers fixing my toilet. They had come in with help from reception. What the heck? Watch the rent due date too. It's the 20th of each month, if that hasn't changed. A nice arrival would often miss the first payment, and each day late meant a 100 crowns penalty.
