The dinner we had at the café was exceptional, and Václav looked after us so well. His recommendations for wine and food were spot on. We also enjoyed the relaxing spa, delicious breakfasts, and our comfortable, nicely decorated deluxe room. I was in Prague for work and brought my husband along for the week. From making the reservation through checkout, every interaction with staff was pleasant. Radek was especially helpful in making sure things went smoothly. We’ll choose the Alchymist first on future Prague visits.

Coming back to Hotel Alchymist Prague always feels like returning somewhere familiar. I live abroad and speak several languages, so hearing Czech from the reception staff when I arrive in Prague brings a real sense of comfort. They make you feel valued and cared for, not like just another guest. Breakfast is a highlight, especially with Věra’s warm attention and smile. Jarmila G. at reception was also thoughtful when we checked out and waited for our pickup. She made sure we were comfortable, offered us a glass of bubbles, and wished us a safe drive, knowing we had many hours of travel ahead. The porter’s kind smile was a lovely last touch as we left. The hotel has beautiful interiors, but its people are what make it special. I’ve stayed here more than once, and each visit confirms how happy I am to return.

Mahi, the Front Desk Manager, greeted my friend with such sincere kindness. I’d contacted the hotel because she was going through a very painful time but still wanted to keep the couple anniversary visit I’d booked for her. The team quickly arranged a sweet treat and a warm drink for her arrival. We were touched by both the thoughtful welcome and how quickly it came together. Heartfelt thanks to the whole team for being so attentive.

Staying at the Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa for Christmas in Prague felt like a dream. The hotel itself is stunning, a real historical masterpiece, and the staff went out of their way to make our visit magical. Martin showed us a kindness after our engagement that we’ll never forget. We can’t imagine staying anywhere else when we come back to Prague, and we’re already looking forward to returning again and again.

We haven’t even reached our room yet, and the welcome and service already make this feel like a great stay. The place is gorgeous, and I picked it as a surprise for our 10th Valentine together. With the spa, wellness facilities, and attentive care, we could easily stay cocooned inside all weekend. I highly recommend it. My wife will probably post pictures.
