The staff tried to stay kind and professional, but my stay at Anette Hotel was still pretty poor. My first room, the Garden Room, turned out to be in the basement. It was freezing because the heating didn’t work, and with Prague around -5°C, they couldn’t get it started. They eventually brought me a small portable heater. The internet was down, and although there were two beds, only one had been made, so it wasn’t clear where my friend was meant to sleep. The sink also drained badly and overflowed easily. They moved me for the next night. The replacement room was much better, though very small, but the internet still wasn’t reliable. For what it cost, the quality didn’t feel acceptable. I wouldn’t stay again without significant renovations, since so many basic things weren’t working.

The photos showed a family room for five, with four beds and a couch, but the room we got looked nothing like that. I still wonder where all those beds were supposed to be. When I complained, they said the photos don’t match the actual rooms and that they were fully booked, so they couldn’t move us or refund us. It felt like an insult.

The price I got was almost impossible to beat compared with other Prague options, and the hotel worked well for a one-night city visit. My room was spotless, with air conditioning that handled a hot summer day perfectly. It was on the small side and the furnishings looked dated, but everything was kept up and worked. I’d recommend Hotel Anette, especially to budget travelers who want a clean place in a practical location.

I came from Poland and felt really well looked after at Hotel Anette. The staff were warm and helpful, and breakfast was tasty, a nice start to the day. My room was very clean, nicely furnished, and had a comfortable bed. Anděl metro and other public transport were only a short walk away. Great value for the price, and I’d happily stay again on my next Prague trip.

The hotel was good value, central, and parking was available nearby. The rooms were pretty and comfortable, and it was generally quiet. We were unlucky with a broken AC that kept us up at night, but the 24-hour reception staff kindly helped us deal with it in the middle of the night. The cute hotel cat was a nice extra.
