The view of Prague Castle is incredible, especially in the morning and at night, and the area is so quiet there's no tourist noise. It may be an underrated part of town, but Aparthotel Tycho de Brahe is even more underrated. For a calm stay with great vibes and lovely views, away from crowded tourist chaos, it's a really good choice. I'd definitely come back. We found the bathroom much more spacious than expected, and everything was clean and worked fine. Breakfast was perfectly okay for us as Hungarians, since we're used to simple breakfasts. The sandwich was a surprisingly nice touch.

The terrace was fantastic, and our room was spacious. Check-in and check-out went smoothly for us. The service was OK, including room cleanliness, breakfast, and the available furniture, though I can imagine it being improved given such an exclusive location. You can reach the Castle, Loretto, "Jeleni Prikop" and other famous places on foot. Tram 22 makes it easy to get there from the center, too. We could have spent several days just walking around the neighborhood without needing to travel elsewhere.

Tycho de Brahe was a Danish astronomer who lived in this house in 1600. Before the telescope was invented, his observations were as accurate as possible. They included a comprehensive study of the solar system and precise positions for more than 777 fixed stars.

There's something special about staying in the room of someone close to the Czech Monarchy, and being near the palace makes the location even better. The self check-in process could be simpler, or at least explained more clearly.

The room was clean and pleasant, and breakfast was left in the fridge: a sandwich, juice, oranges, and a few snacks. We had a small issue at check-in, but it was sorted out within an hour. Highly recommend.
