Apartment in the centre

Getting around was easy, with the metro and tram almost right outside, and I had no trouble communicating with the landlord. The apartment is simply furnished but pleasant, and it has the everyday essentials, though some parts look worn. The bathroom was the main problem for me: it has no proper window, just a small opening onto a kind of shaft, and smelled very damp. If you’re sensitive to smells, you probably won’t be comfortable there. The separate toilet smelled better. That corner of the building is noisy, and other tenants sometimes ignored the house rules by letting the front door slam and smoking in the hall. Parking nearby is limited or very expensive, as it is in much of the city center.
