The best part was Letná. It’s a lovely neighborhood, with restaurants, cafes, a post office, and good public transport nearby. The room was clean and had its own bathroom, though the place is old. If you’re on a budget, it’s okay, but with time to look, I’m sure you can find better for the same price. Late check-in was a hassle. The man on the phone was probably drunk, and it took three calls to get inside. The WiFi barely works, so plan on using mobile data or buying a SIM card. The listing says card payment is accepted, but that wasn’t true. The woman at reception didn’t speak English and said the POS device visible behind the desk wasn’t working, so I had to pay cash. Bring the exact amount in EUR to make sure you pay the booked price, since the exchange rate for change could be bad. My last night was a nightmare: for hours, a couple fought, screamed, slammed doors, and made a lot of noise.

Aauspicie Apartmenspool is a comfortable, safe place that allows pets, has free Wi-Fi, and is non-smoking. The facilities were quite clean and the whole place felt pleasant. It’s just a few minutes from Old Town Square, the Prague Astronomical Clock, and Wenceslas Square.

Since 2016, I’ve been coming here for work regularly, once every 1-2 weeks. Depending on hotel occupancy, I’ve stayed in different rooms about 30-40 times a year, and I’ve never had a problem or seen any insects. The staff are pleasant, helpful, and always accommodating. You can arrive at any time, but you need to arrange it by phone after you arrive. I can’t agree with Mr. Mrvečka.

The apartment was spacious, and we booked one with a bathroom. They even provide soap, shampoo, wipes, and cotton pads, and it has everything else you need. It’s a great location, about a 10-15 minute walk from the center. Highly recommend!
