The pub rooms can get a bit noisy on weekends, though things quieted down after 11pm. Otherwise, it was a great base with simple entry and exit and easy access to lots of places. The wifi was very good, and the free luggage storage about 200 mt from the apartments came in handy.

We had plenty of towels, bedding, and toilet roll, and the apartment had all the utensils and appliances we needed. It was an ideal spot for our Prague trip with four adults and two teenagers, about two minutes from Charles Bridge, with attractions, restaurants, bars, and small convenience shops nearby. There’s also a bar/restaurant next door. The hosts were easy to reach. If you arrive early, luggage can be left at a place about a 5-8 minute walk away, though we were lucky that our apartment was ready early and they let us in. That was a real plus. We knew we’d be on the top floor, so the many stairs weren’t a surprise. Inside, there’s a large open-plan lounge with a small kitchen area, two big double bedrooms downstairs, and a converted attic double upstairs. The main bathroom and en suite both have showers only. The bed felt a little hard to me, but that’s personal preference, and I often find that in Europe. It was nice having our own space after days out exploring. I’d recommend it and book again.

We didn’t need to contact the host during our stay because everything was in place, including plenty of towels and toiletries. The team communicated clearly about getting into the apartment, answered questions quickly, and gave useful tips about the area and nearby facilities. I was impressed by their professionalism. The location was very central. There was a strange smell in the bathroom, but airing it out took care of it.

The main thing that let us down was the heating. It seemed to run for a few hours in the morning, switch off by 10 AM, then come back around 7 PM. If we’d been told that on arrival, it wouldn’t have been an issue. We thought something was wrong and kept asking the cleaning ladies to switch it back on. The cleaning ladies were amazing, always bringing fresh towels when we needed them and doing their best to answer questions despite the language barrier. Five stars to them. The information centre staff were great too, with answers and helpful advice. Our room was very clean and spacious, and the kitchen had everything we might need. The location put us in the middle of everything, with our bedroom right on the main street, but passing pedestrians never caused a noise problem. There were smoking areas on the balconies next to the apartments.
