Boutique Seven Days Hotel

We stayed for a few days at both the start and end of our holiday, and wouldn't hesitate to return. The hotel is clean and nicely appointed, with a lovely breakfast room and wonderful food. They even had non-dairy milk alternatives. I also liked the water and mead station by reception. The staff were kind and very helpful, and laughed warmly at my poor attempt to say thank you in Czech. It was generous of them to store our bike bags while we toured the country. The Metro, National Museum, and trams are all an easy walk away.

The room was very, very clean, which I appreciated, and the interior is beautiful. But the amenities are very old, and the broken neon light outside my window kept flickering all night. Breakfast was decent apart from the orange juice. There was no parking right at the entrance, nobody offered to help with luggage, and getting over the cobblestones and carpet at the entrance could be a struggle before reaching reception, especially if you're alone or older with big bags. At least there are elevators in the building. It wasn't a bad stay, but I expected better service.

The hotel's charm is hard to miss: the architecture, rooms, breakfast, welcoming people, even the fruit in our room and umbrellas available to buy when it rains. It's just a five-minute walk from Muzeum metro station, and most Prague sights are within walking distance. The other reviewers have already made all the pleasant, true points, and I agree with them. The hotel has plenty of character and a calm, comfortable feel, with a central location that puts many attractions within easy walking distance. We had a very pleasant four-day stay. It's clean, reception is welcoming, and the staff are friendly and professional. Breakfast has lots of choice, served with warm, attentive service. Five stars for everything.
