City Castle Aparthotel

The location is interesting, but I wouldn't recommend this company. Check which floor your apartment is on before renting. We were put at the very top, and with no elevator, the steep climb in an old building with high floors could be difficult for older people. Once financial problems needed explaining, contact with the hotel staff broke off. 😞

Petr was easy to deal with and kept in touch throughout the booking and stay. Parking was in a secure lot right across the street. Once you find the entrance, it's a really great apartment. There's a small sign on the left of the doorway, but it's easy to miss, so looking for #4 is simpler. Inside are two large rooms, a full kitchen, washing machine, and bathroom between them. Four or five people could easily sleep there.

There's much more room here than in a hotel, and the kitchen is fine for simple meals. With the washing machine and clothes horse, we came home with clean clothes. There isn't a lift, so it may not work for people with mobility issues. The apartment is well placed for the Metro, just a couple of stops from the city center, and Prague Castle is within walking distance.

I felt right at home here and could imagine living in the place. The bathroom could use a small upgrade, since those sliding bath doors aren't great. It'd also help if the main doors were better insulated. People are already running around from 5am, and you can hear them. A larger double duvet would be perfect too. I don't get this Czech thing of having little ones :)
