Hotel Ehrlich Prague

My husband and I were surprised by the low ratings. For the price, the room was adequate, and breakfast was a lovely bonus. The front desk staff were courteous, and the location worked fine for us, with bus stops to the city centre nearby and Vitkov Park close by. The downside was noise: the rooms facing the main road aren’t soundproof, so traffic can be heard.

I was there for a week and liked the accommodation, food, and cleaning service. Stefan at reception was especially polite, helpful, and outgoing. He told me a lot about Czech culture, the language, and local sights. Thanks for making it such a good experience.

What stayed with me most was how much the staff tried to understand what guests needed. Their care made a real difference, and I haven’t found that kind of hospitality at every hotel. The reception team were friendly and happy to suggest places around the city. There’s also a little bar and shop at reception with soft drinks at good prices, and breakfast each morning was tasty. I liked the dining room’s relaxed, cozy feel even more than similar breakfasts I’ve had in Vienna. The hotel is in Žižkov, only a few tram stops from Prague’s main train station, and I had a wonderful stay. The parking area was fairly spacious, though I hadn’t booked a space. The receptionist pointed me to a nearby, cheaper place to park than the hotel’s own option.

The room was quiet, spotless, and well looked after, with tea and coffee and a small fridge. The hotel is handy for the Biskupcova tram stop, with links to the city centre and Prague’s main train station. The staff were wonderful and helpful too. I’ll definitely come back.
