The breakfast really stood out, with plenty of choices for different tastes. I especially liked the scrambled eggs and oatmeal. When my group had to leave before breakfast to catch a bus to Karlovy Vary, the hotel kindly packed us bags with a small muffin, yogurt, a sandwich and some cheese. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever I dealt with them, particularly the young man at the night reception, who arranged a taxi to the airport for 3 AM. My room was very clean, everything worked, and the shower was wonderfully hot. The hotel is comfortable and well appointed, about four blocks from the subway and bus lines. When I return to Prague, Fleur de Lis will be my first choice.

The area was quiet and peaceful, which I liked, though it takes a bit of a walk to get to the metro. The room was large and clean, and the counter staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice, too.

The bathroom has no shower enclosure, so bathing can be a little inconvenient. Still, it didn’t take away from the stay. The hotel has a lovely vintage look, with charming details, a comfortable bed, and an extensive breakfast with something to suit everyone. I had a very positive experience.

I got a really good rate through booking, but the hotel cancelled less than a week before my trip, saying there was a problem with my credit card. That left us having to find another hotel at the last minute, and it ended up costing us a lot. The same card worked perfectly at the next hotel. I tried contacting Fleur de Lis hotel after the cancellation and got no reply at all. Booking dot com later told me the hotel was overbooked. Booking dot com had no trouble accepting the card for the next reservation.
