Green Garden Hotel

After a long, tiring day out in the cold, it was lovely to come back to a warm, comfortable room. This small hotel has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and a classic, traditional style, and everything was very clean. Breakfast was excellent, with lots of choices, including hot dishes. I. P. Pavlova station is only a few minutes away on foot. I'd happily recommend it to friends and anyone visiting Prague.

Our group of friends stayed here in Prague a week ago. The rooms were spacious and clean, the property met our expectations, and the food was very good. We had a reservation problem with our travel agency, though, and Oksana at the front desk gave us all the information we needed and helped get it resolved. She was friendly and helpful throughout. Employees like her are a treasure. Thank you so much.

Green Garden Hotel was an extremely clean place to stay, and the staff were very friendly. We had a very pleasant visit and highly recommend it. All the best to you, from Bea&Nigel in Northern Ireland 💞

The hotel itself was pleasant and well equipped, but a restaurant exchange with one of the waiters left us frustrated and disheartened. After we paid, he asked where we were from. I said we live in Germany and that I'm from there, while my boyfriend is originally from Ireland. The waiter said he was surprised we were white. When I asked what he meant, he said Germany was overrun by immigrants. My boyfriend pointed out that he had moved to Germany from Ireland and was an immigrant by definition. The waiter laughed and said my boyfriend was European, so he didn't count, adding that he meant “people from Africa and places like those.” We can't see those comments as anything other than racist. I'm particularly confused about making such blatantly prejudiced remarks about people's heritage in a place that mainly caters to people from abroad. I wish we hadn't tipped.
