Holec Apartments

The apartment was warm during my late November stay, and the room was clean and well prepared. The bed was very comfortable, too. There's no elevator, which might bother some people, but it wasn't an issue for me. Great place in the city center, really recommend it.

We stayed in a spacious, clean and comfortable apartment on the fourth floor over the Christmas holidays. Everything we needed was nearby, and the center was about 10 minutes away. We were very pleased and will come back.

The apartment had a kitchen, which was handy for traveling on a budget. The rooms were clean, the staff incredibly nice, and it was close to both the city center and a tram stop for exploring Prague's outer skirts.

Apart from this ordeal, Prague was a beautiful city. When the hot water heater broke at 10 pm, it flooded the apartment. Thankfully, the owner found us another place, but the first apartment he sent us to was occupied, and he didn't know who was staying there. He then moved us to a different room, which was very nice. I was grateful my family didn't have to switch hotels at midnight. Two days later, they wanted us to move back downstairs to the original apartment. I refused because the sofa bed and ceiling lights had been flooded. The manager agreed we could move to another apartment, and we accepted on the understanding that we'd get one night's refund for the flood and all the moves. I was promised the refund that day, but I still haven't received a notification or credit. We visited Prague in May 2019.
