The bed gave way in the middle of the night, and I ended up sleeping on the floor after my luggage failed to prop me up. Management wouldn't refund that night's stay and even suggested we might be charged for the damage. They offered two bottles of water as consolation. The front desk clerk was lovely and tried to help, but senior management was miserable to deal with and argued with us. Avoid this place if you don't want to sleep on the floor.

It didn't feel like somewhere you'd want to spend time alone. The common areas were creepy, the atmosphere was bad, and the smell was unpleasant. The rooms smelled too, and the mattresses were old. The kitchen was the worst. Bathroom floors were filthy and there was some mold, though the showers themselves were OK. You could hear people talking and walking in the hall, and with no card system or other door lock, it felt like anyone could come in at night. I wouldn't recommend staying here on your own.

The area is really nice, close to the tourist centre but far enough away from it. Location was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Cheap and really alright.

A spacious hostel in a great spot, with kind staff. The only issue was drunk British guests, but that's not the hotel's fault.

The kitchen had more fridge space than I've seen in other hostels, and the room was clean and comfortable. There are no toilets or showers in the rooms, but they were nearby and I never had to wait. I also liked the quiet feel, the backyard, the couch room, and the hangout room. The staff were nice, and it seemed to draw a nicer crowd, if that makes sense.
