Brix Hostel

The staff did help us store the very large music equipment I brought as a street musician, somewhere safe that I could access when needed. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds comfortable, and the price affordable. The rooms could have been a bit bigger, but the large common area helped. Nico, the Event Manager, was especially helpful. I may have been a bit of an annoying customer.

This is the best hostel I've stayed in, even though the rooms are too crowded. The beds don't squeak, the bathrooms get cleaned very often, and there's space to work or relax. The staff are great. Each evening there are activities, and a bar room with live music. Fantastic.

We booked a private room and were given the Price Room, which was amazing and really comfortable. There's a kitchen upstairs, and the location was handy for shops and public transport. The place is full of books and pictures, almost like a museum, and I was impressed by its culture. The staff were friendly and the quality for the price was great. I don't drink alcohol, and nobody asked me to write a comment in exchange for a beer. This is my honest review.

Brix has something happening each night, so there's plenty to do. The staff were kind and welcoming, especially Aibek, Daysy and Yuri. The volunteer team was awesome too, helping out and making guests feel at home. I highly recommend this hostel!
