Hotel Golden City Garni

It’s an easy walk to the city center, and the house itself is quite nice. Staff were very friendly and the rooms pretty clean. The room was the weak spot: simple and not especially cozy, though it had what you need for a night and evening, including an electric kettle and microwave.

Breakfast staff and reception were kind and welcoming, and the hotel is conveniently located near major transport routes. My room was clean and had the essentials, including a proper bed, fridge, and kettle. The soap dispenser by the sink was awkwardly placed and a bit sensitive. I enjoyed my stay and would pick the hotel again for my next trip to Prague. The sausages with fresh bread and salad were tasty, though I missed fresh scrambled eggs. The sweet pastries seemed a little store-bought. Still, it’s a friendly, solid place I’d gladly recommend.

The reception lady was so sweet and helpful with everything, and the tram stop is right outside, which was really convenient. I stayed one night and really enjoyed it. The place was very clean, and the bedroom had all I needed. I’d recommend it.

The location is a little out of the way, but buses and trolley lines are right by the hotel, and the city center is an easy 15-20 minutes away by bus or trolley. We were a family of four, and the two-room apartment worked perfectly for us. The rooms were clean, basic, and relatively quiet.
