A good price for Prague, with a very good breakfast selection of hot and cold food and decent coffee, though the juice was watery. The room was clean and basic, neither especially modern nor outdated. Reception is open around the clock, and there’s quite a lot of parking outside.

I slept really well because the hotel and surrounding area were peaceful at night. The twin room was plain but clean, with a firm, comfortable mattress; the pillows badly need replacing. There was no kettle, and I didn’t use the TV. Breakfast was included and reasonable, though the same choices got repetitive across six days, so more variety would help. The restaurant has a limited menu at very good prices. Trams and buses are a five-minute walk away. I stayed six nights at Hotel Kanarek, enjoyed the visit, and would come back next time I’m in Prague.

Free parking at the property and breakfast included were useful. The city center is a bit far away, but that didn’t bother us much. The real drawback was having no elevator: after a long, tiring drive, carrying our luggage up to the third floor was the last thing we wanted. Apart from that, we were quite satisfied with our two-night stay.

This was just what we needed, close to the places we were visiting. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff welcoming and friendly, and breakfast was great. We’d happily stay here again.
