Hotel Libero

We really appreciated being able to check in early and leave our luggage. Hotel Libero was very clean, and the staff were kind and helpful. Breakfast had a pleasant atmosphere, and the halal options were a thoughtful touch. We hope to return to Prague and would happily stay here again.💖💖💖

The bed was comfortable enough, breakfast was nice, and the room had AC. But the photos set the wrong expectation. Ignore the Green Point image shown as the main photo in Google search, it’s completely irrelevant. The old 80s colour scheme looks tired, and housekeeping was cursory: they folded the duvet but didn’t straighten the sheets. The shower had a curtain and a shower head that needed careful handling to keep water from spraying around the bathroom. Noise came through, and the thin curtains blocked neither light nor sound, so earplugs and a sleep mask were necessary.

It’s rated three stars, but felt more like four. The location is convenient and easy to reach by Prague’s public transport, which is amazingly cheap and reliable.

Breakfast was a highlight, with lots to choose from: eggs, lunch meats, cereal, omelets, fruit, steamed vegetables, salads, pastries, and plenty of drinks. The property was clean and well maintained, and checkout in the morning was quick and easy. The only small issue was a broken shower head, but staff fixed it the same day after we reported it. We stayed at Hotel Libero for five nights and felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Everyone, from the front desk to the kitchen staff and maids, was friendly and helpful. The front desk team spoke excellent English, making communication easy. The location was hard to beat, within walking distance of Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, and the Astronomical Clock. I’d happily stay again and recommend it for the location, service, and amenities.
