Hotel Mazanka

Getting around was easy and inexpensive thanks to Prague’s transit, though the main sights and downtown were about half an hour away. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and practical, with a kitchenette. You’ll need your own dishes and pans, or you can ask reception for some. I wouldn’t bother with breakfast, it wasn’t good.

The long-stay price is hard to beat, and the place is cleaned regularly. Each floor shares a kitchen, which works fine if you can be flexible about when you cook. It’s a good place to stay in Prague. If you get the chance to stay here, I don’t think you’ll regret it.

I spent a month here and would happily come back. The staff were lovely and very helpful, explaining both the stay and the city. They’re busy and fully booked now, so it may be worth starting the process early. It’s more like a hostel than a typical hotel. Each floor has several rooms and one kitchen with a hotplate and microwave. You’ll need to bring or arrange your own utensils, though there’s a fridge and storage space in the kitchen for each person. Bathrooms are attached to the rooms, which come in different sizes. Mine had a bed, study table, and a big cupboard, with plenty of room for clothes. There’s also a large laundry room with washing machines and a separate drying room. You pay each time you wash your clothes.

Getting around was easy with local transport connections nearby, and the front desk is staffed around the clock. The apartment felt cozy and had its own bathroom. It was clean and bright.
