Hotel Paris Prague

The breakfast was outstanding, beautifully cooked and presented, with a great selection. Even as someone with coeliac disease, I was well catered for. My small room was thoughtfully set up for comfort, with a bright, clean bathroom, heated floor, stocked fridge, chocolate, a range of teas and very nice coffee. This is a lovely hotel in a convenient spot for public transport, which is free if you're over 65. The staff were friendly and very helpful. It has the feel of a grand hotel, with a uniformed porter opening the door, and the Art Deco interior is stunning, with chandeliers and richly decorated walls. A double-entry system kept corridor noise out, though street noise sometimes woke me, which is hard to avoid in the city centre. I was disappointed that my carpet wasn't vacuumed. On my two visits to Tony’s cafe bar in the hotel, service varied a lot. It took ages to get anyone's attention, and one waiter spent ten minutes chatting with other customers while I was trying to pay. The Art Deco crockery and surroundings helped make up for that. Would I stay again? Absolutely. It's a unique experience.

My wife and I didn't stay at the hotel. Our private tour guide showed us around the beautiful Art Deco property, and we liked it so much that we returned on our own for a meal. The decor, food and service were wonderful, so we came back a second time too. The goulash, veal schnitzel and desserts were especially good. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Prague, I'd seriously consider the Paris. It's centrally located and within easy walking distance of a lot of places. Check it out!

The atmosphere was one of my favorite things. During dinner, live piano music made it feel like coffee in a royal salon, while breakfast was delightful. Staff were warm and professional, with a bit of Czech personality. The hotel brings Prague's grand, artistic, timeless spirit to mind. I've stayed at plenty of luxury hotels, but this one has real soul, and every corner seems to tell a story. From the red carpet and golden lettering to the colorful mosaic arch and detailed Art Nouveau entrance, the arrival feels like stepping into a royal painting. Inside, high ceilings, ornate chandeliers, polished wood and artistic touches create an elegant, old-world feel alongside modern comfort. It's more than luxury, it feels poetic. Hotel Paříž stands out as a five-star gem in the heart of Prague. If you want a few days feeling like European royalty, this is the place.

The hotel was decent and in a great location, and breakfast was all right, though it could have had more options. A few dinners at Tony’s bar & cafe were a highlight, the food there was delicious. Getting service was the real problem. When we were leaving for the airport, the cab we ordered dropped us almost a mile away, saying that walking from there was normal in Prague. The service was terrible. We would come back, but that part of the experience was very poor.
