Hotel Residence Agnes

The hospitality here was the highlight of our trip. On departure, they packed us a lunch for the train, then our transfer car wouldn’t start after the luggage was loaded. The owner, whose name I can’t remember, immediately got his own keys and drove us safely and quickly to the station, showing us where to go. Everyone was helpful and kept offering drinks and assistance. I’m not much of a coffee person, so the Coca Cola at breakfast was a big bonus. This was our first stop in three European cities, and we’d definitely stay here again if we return to Prague. After a long travel day, we were greeted warmly with a beer for my husband and prosecco for me. Someone walked us through a city map with the main sights and restaurant suggestions. The comfortable room was very nice, and breakfast was fresh, delicious, and had plenty of choice. Thank you, you were the best part of our trip!

What makes this place memorable is how kind and welcoming everyone is. We were offered drinks as soon as we arrived, and a staff member took time to explain Prague and suggest things to do. They even walked us to a recommended lunch spot, and offered a free ride from the hotel to the train station on our arrival day. Most employees spoke several languages, including English, German, and Spanish as well as Czech, so it was easy to communicate. I’d absolutely recommend it. The hotel itself is attractive and clean, with a comfortable, tidy room and a good breakfast selection. It’s well located, with restaurants nearby and a tram stop not far away. The service is what makes it such a remarkable place.

We had a fantastic family stay with our nine-month-old daughter, and would happily return to Hotel Agnes. The staff had a travel cot set up in our room before we arrived, and they were friendly and helpful throughout. A special thank you to Jenna and Viktoria. The room and bathroom were lovely and clean, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a great mix of sweet, savoury, and fruit options. The hotel is beautiful and just a few minutes’ walk from the centre. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, including spots the staff recommended. Thanks so much for a lovely visit.

Every morning, breakfast was fresh and delicious, and our room was spotless. But it was the staff who made the stay so memorable. From the front desk receptionist who welcomed us like honored guests at our very first hello to everyone else, they showed a rare level of care and made sure we felt settled. From our airport arrival until we left, the whole experience was extraordinary. This was easily the best hotel stay we’ve ever had. We left feeling rested and grateful for the wonderful hospitality, and we’ll definitely come back.
