The location is a strong point for the price: metro lines A and C are nearby with direct city-center links, the Old Town can be reached on foot, and there are lots of restaurants around. Our street-facing room was noisy because the street is busy, while rooms on the other side have better sound insulation and double glazing. Parking is in the backyard, but the entrance on the left side of the street is extremely narrow. At €25 a night, the fee is ridiculously high, and nearby parking is scarce, paid, or resident-only. We were a family of four for four nights, and the room felt too small. I'd suggest it for no more than three people. It was very clean and reception, kitchen, and housekeeping staff were consistently kind and helpful. There wasn't a wardrobe or much storage, so our clothes stayed in suitcases, and there was no table for us to eat together. The microwave, kettle, and fridge were useful. The upstairs mattresses were surprisingly comfortable, but the sofa bed's metal frame could be felt, and upstairs is only sleeping space. Wi-Fi kept dropping out. Breakfast was clean and okay, though basic, so keep expectations modest. One thing to watch when booking through an online platform: check and answer hotel messages. Our Booking.com reservation led to a couple of misunderstandings because arrival time and payment details were missing, but the receptionist helped renew it. For Prague, it's good value, though larger families or groups may find the space and comfort lacking.

The location is good and the rooms decent, but when something goes wrong you want a hotel that puts guests first. My wife arrived at 21:58 to find the door locked, and was charged an extra €20 for late check-in, which is supposed to apply to arrivals after 22:00. Someone opened the door, handed her a piece of paper, and apparently that was worth €20. I expected the hotel to sort it out, but staff, who I don't blame, insisted the charge had to stand even though she arrived before 22:00. Their self check-in seems to mean opening a key box and writing down details for the staff to handle in the morning. The owner should stop charging for that courtesy. I've done hundreds of self check-ins and never had to pay €20. If they act this way over €20, I wonder how they'll respond to a problem in your room.

In May the weather was great, and this was my third stop on a European trip. After an easy, friendly check-in, I got thoughtful tips for enjoying the city and a nice room with good facilities. I'm a giant, but getting up to and down from the loft bed wasn't much trouble. The stay was comfortable and refreshing. The breakfast spread was a pleasant surprise, with a good range of standard breakfast foods and extras, quality ingredients, and enough for all the guests. My favorite was the juice selection, especially the vitamin and mineral juice, which was mind-blowingly good. It's well placed for walks to parks, gardens, the Old Town, shopping avenue, and authentic restaurants in the more suburban areas. The pinball museum is just across from the national museum. Great value for the rates. Thanks for a pleasant, comfortable stay :)

Breakfast was poor, and we had to sit in front of a TV blasting awful jungle hip-hop. At 9 in the morning, our 9-year-old daughter saw a woman in a thong grinding against a silver pole and asked, “What is she doing?” Completely inappropriate in a family-friendly hotel. The room was too hot, the pillows gave no support, and the bed was uncomfortable. Avoid if you have kids!
