Hotel Troja

Really lovely place, with nice staff. Clean, warm, and cosy. I'd stay again.

Had a very nice stay. Everything was good, and the metro and tram are close by. The center is about 15 minutes away.

We were in the area for work, and it took about 25 minutes by tram to reach Prague 1. There are two tram stops within a five-minute walk, so getting around was easy. The receptionist was one of the politest people we met in Prague, which we really appreciated. Our room was spacious and clean, though the furniture looked a little tired and dated. With the window shut, the soundproofing worked very well and barely any street noise came through. There was also a balcony with an ashtray on the wall. We don't smoke, and the weather wasn't good enough to sit out there, but I imagine smokers would appreciate it. Breakfast was good and the coffee decent. The pillows were too thin and didn't give us much support. Aside from that, we were happy with the hotel, room, and staff.

The reception staff were friendly and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay. Our room was clean, had a small balcony, and came with a fan that we used during the hot weather. The hotel is about 200 metres from a tram stop, around 25 minutes from the city center by tram or 15 minutes by car. We booked a garage parking space in advance for 16 Euro per day. Breakfast was fine, though we'd suggest replacing the coffee machine because the coffee wasn't very good. We didn't get to try the restaurant, which apparently doesn't open on weekends. We found that odd.
