Hotel Kings Court

We had a very spacious junior suite with a jacuzzi, and the room was warm and quiet. The hotel is right on Prague’s main square. Breakfast offered lots of variety, and the restaurant served tasty food with very good service. The lounge was always warm and friendly, with a nice range of snacks. The Spa also had friendly service. The Chaos Keeping department did its job well. Congratulations to the reception team, especially Mr. Moussa and his team for their attentiveness.

The replacement room was excellent: spacious, comfortable, and with a large, clean bathroom. We also liked the varied breakfast buffet, the quiet location, and the air conditioning, which worked well and could be set to cool even in winter. I’d still recommend the hotel for its facilities and the room we ended up with, though I hope the rooms offered will match their online photos more transparently. Getting that room was difficult. The first one had several structural columns that made the space uncomfortable and unlike the photos. At first, the hotel offered no fair solution, despite our willingness to accept a reasonable alternative. They said only one room was available, but it would cost extra to upgrade. I took photos and said I was ready to leave and ask for a full refund. Only then did they agree to move us. I had also visited the neighboring Hotel Paris, where I was offered an excellent rate and much better service. But by then it was past midnight, and we were exhausted from the trip, so we stayed once the alternative room was offered. I especially want to thank Davyoch from the hospitality team. He was much more helpful and understanding than the front desk staff, and his patience and effort made a real difference.

The location was ideal, an easy walk from Old City Square, Wenceslas Square, and the main train and bus station. Breakfast had a great selection, and the food was good. Our rooms were spacious, and the requests we made about them were handled just right. Some unexpected circumstances meant we needed a longer stay and more flexibility with checkout. The staff were kind and helpful about it. I highly recommend the hotel and hope to come back.

The rooms at Kings Court Hotel were lovely and clean, with everything we needed, and breakfast was a delicious feast with something for every palate. The hotel made our Prague city break fabulous. The restaurant’s dinner menu was worthy of a 5 star hotel, served by pleasant, efficient, hard-working staff. I especially recommend the saffron risotto with pistachio nuts and braised lamb. The bar stayed open until 1am, and there was live music on two of our evenings. The barman, who I think was named Alexander, was professional, pleasant, and incredibly hardworking. One evening, he made at least six cocktails at once while also serving beers and other drinks to about 15 men who had just come in after a hotel conference. He did the work of at least three bar staff on his own and still stayed courteous. Thanks to all the staff at Kings Court Hotel. I’ll definitely recommend it to friends and family visiting Prague. Ann
