River hotel KONIGSTEIN

We were close enough to walk to the main sights, which made getting around easy. The boat itself was a fun, unusual place to stay, and the staff went out of their way to help us more than once. Thanks for sorting out our check-in trouble and speaking with our Uber driver so early on the morning of our flight. We really appreciated it.

The boat has a lovely feel, with lots of fancy vintage things around, and the staff were very attentive. It’s close to town and plenty of attractions. The rooms are small, but comfortable, and for the price I thought it was well worth it. Breakfast was very good, and there was always someone serving at the bar. I’d absolutely come back. It was also much cheaper than many places in Prague.

We had a really enjoyable stay. The setting is quaint, the sofa beds were comfortable, and the bar was cute and handy. The staff were pleasant and the location was great. The only little snag was the lighting, since we couldn’t always use the bathroom light. Service was otherwise faultless.

The staff were excellent and breakfast was good, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here during the busy months from May to September unless you’re okay sweating in bed. The rooms get extremely hot and stuffy, and the windows don’t open. Although air conditioning is advertised, it barely works, and there are only two fans for more than 40 rooms. The furnishings also look like they haven’t been updated in about 30 years.
