Hotel Jerabek

The breakfast was very good, and the price felt fair. If I remember right, it's served from 7 to 9, so get there early. With the PiD pass, we could reach Prague's old city centre in 15 minutes without worrying, and there’s a big metro station on line B within a five minute walk. Several bus and tram stops are nearby too. We stayed two nights at Hotel Jerabek, and the owner was accommodating even though we arrived later in the evening without a reservation. The private parking behind a locked gate was great. Space could be tight when it's busy, though we had no trouble. Our room looked a bit old and worn, but everything worked, and I liked the beds. The hotel is in Prague 8. If I visit Prague again, I'd definitely consider staying here.

I enjoyed staying here, and the breakfast was quite nice. The price is reasonable, and the hotel sits in a quiet part of the city with public transport close by. The owner clearly cares about the property and the service, and holds himself to a high standard. You can tell he wants guests to be happy with what he offers, a quality that's rare in multinational, chain-like hotels.

Breakfast was a highlight: freshly made scrambled eggs with sausage or ham, plus bread, cereal, yoghurts and Jerabek’s homemade apple strudel. The host was attentive without hovering, and when we said the room was a little hot for us coming from Sweden, with no air on, a request to Jerabek got us a brand new fan. It’s a cosy place with a bathroom finished to a high standard. The busy roads are fairly close, but the double glazing does a pretty good job. Would recommend.

The staff were really friendly and breakfast was nice. It’s a cheap, comfortable hotel for a few nights in Prague, and there’s private parking if you arrive by car.
